Guest Blog: The Christmas List πŸ¦ŒπŸŽ…πŸŽ„

This week, my friend and fellow blogger agreed to do a guest post on this blog! Whoo! Which means I don’t have to write anything! #lazygoals. What are friends for?

Since we are slowly sliding into December and that all-too present holiday spirit, our fellow blogger is all ready to get you started:

Can you hear those sleigh bells ringing? I know, I know… Halloween was just yesterday! But Christmas is around the corner and nothing excites me more than the holiday spirit in the air!

It’s most definitely a beautiful time of the year. Christmas decoration go up in shops and everywhere you look- there’s tinsel and lights and more! The only thing missing is the snow (perks of being in a tropical country).

So, in order for us all to get into the holiday spirit, your favourite, Christmas-loving blogger is here to get you into the holiday mood. So, here we go:

❄️ Snuggle under the blanket and watch a few holiday movies.
There’s nothing like a few good holiday movies to get you in the holiday spirit. HereΒ Β Β Β  are a few of our favourites:
🌟 Home alone
🌟 Elf
🌟 Office Christmas Party

❄️ Drink hot cocoa in your PJs
(Preferably while watching the movies listed above)

❄️ Charge your playlist UP and throw some Christmas songs into the mix:
Here are a few of my favourite Christmas songs of ALL time:
🌟 Santa, That’s My Only Wish – Britney Spears
🌟 All I want for Christmas – Mariah Carey
🌟 Rocking around the Christmas tree – Miley Cyrus’ version
🌟 Santa Baby
🌟 I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas

❄️ Buy and send Christmas cards to your loved ones.
Your Christmas cards won’t probably be as extravagant as the Kardashians’ one, butΒ Β Β Β Β  it’s the thought that counts! So show your loved ones who are living far away that you are thinking of them this holiday season.

❄️ Make a holiday gift-list.
This is not just a way of getting yourself into the holiday spirit, it’s also a way of ensuring you won’t miss gifts for anyone. So as early as this November write down a list of names of the people you have to buy gifts for and some potential gift suggestions as well.

❄️ Bake some holiday cookies and cakes.
On a low budget? Bake some holiday cookies and cakes and gift them to your friends and family instead! You can find some amazing holiday recipes on the internet from yummy cookies to the perfect eggnog. Here are three recipes I found which I will be trying as well:
🌟 Gingerbread people
🌟 Christmas brownies
🌟 Chocolate and cherry Christmas pudding

❄️Start decorating your house.
Take down your Halloween decorations and go crazy with the Christmas dΓ©cor! Personally, my favourite is the Christmas tree. It’s so much fun decorating, and plus- if your tree is all-natural, the fresh piney smell is enough to get you into the holiday mood in under five seconds!

❄️ Throw a holiday Christmas party
Invite a few friends over and have a Christmas party with all your fave food and drink!

❄️ Have a very, merry Christmas everyone!
Happy holidays and good luck for the upcoming year!
